How to Create a Blog Site

As blogging now a day is so popular, more and more blog is emerging everyday and if you are one of those who is new to blogging you might probably wandering how is a blog created.

This post will be showing you how to create a blog site using theme powered by blogger.com same as what the author use.

How to create a blog site using blogger.com

Step 1. Open the site blogger.com and register, click on the “Sign up”, a new window will then open displaying a form wherein you will provide information.

Step 2. Completely filled up the necessary information required by blogger, the initial requirement is that you must have an email address to get started, if you do not have an email address you can sign up for an email address using yahoo mail, Google mail or hot mail.  

Step 3. Upon completion on the necessary information select “Next step”, you will be prompt to a new window. Your new Google profile is created. Click on the “Next step” button. 

Step4. Welcome note will then appear stating your new Google email address. Click “Back to blogger” button. Your profile information will then be displayed, if you do have any information you want to change just confirm your profile by selecting the “Continue to Blogger” button.

Step 5. The blogger dashboard will appear, now you may start your new blog. To create a blog site select “New blog” button.

Step 6. You will be prompt to a new window, enter the “Blog title” that you are about to make, you can enter any title you want after all you can easily change the title once you think of a better title later.

On the blog address or url, enter the name of the blog that you want to use, the blog URL will be permanent for every blog you created so you must think of a better name that is related to the topic that you want to discuss or posts on your blog later. The blog name that you are about to use must first be verified, if it is not yet use by another blogger, by selecting “check availability” once you entered the name on the blog address.

If the blog name you entered is available, proceed to selecting your blog template, lots of default blogger template to choose from. Choose the best template that you want to use that best described your blog. Choose any template if you are not yet sure what template you want and change it later if you find a better template that suit best for your blog.

Step 7. After you choose a template for your blog, you can now start blogging as your blog is already created.

You can now start blogging by creating your first post, when you select start blogging a new window will appear, this is where you create your post, enter your post title and the content of your post then select publish to publish your article.
